AGR Diamond Tools Opens New Testing Facility in Texas

The Woodlands, TX, March 11, 2004 -- AGR Diamond Tools, a division of AGR Stone and Tools, USA, Inc. has opened its’ newest research and development center in Conroe, Texas. The facility will be used to test its’ new line of diamond tools specifically formulated and engineered for the North American market. The testing is expected to last 18-24 months. The testing facility is the next step in AGR’s plan to market its’ premium line of diamond tools directly to natural stone fabricators and contractors in the fragmented North American diamond tool market.

AGR Stone and Tools, founded in 1963 and a leading manufacturer of diamond tools for the natural stone industry since 1983, has been planning to enter the US market for some time, but were unable to due to contractual obligations. Those obligations with its’ North American private–label partners have since expired, which allows AGR to market its’ own high-end line of diamond tools directly to its’ customers.
