Convex Polishing Pads

Specially designed for polishing curves and corners, our convex polishing pads are good for most stones. A major advantage of our pads is you get the highest quality polish available without the use of a buff pad. These long lasting pads are available in wet and dry, and both produce an exceptionally superior polish on granite.

Polishing Pad Tips

The proper tool needs to be used when polishing. Most angle grinders operate at too high a speed for proper polishing. High RPM's will burn and stain the surface of the pad, or even cause the pads to fly right off the backer, potentially causing injury. Burning the pads due to high RPM's can cause the pads to wear out quickly and even stain the stone being polished. Wet pads can be used at speeds of up to 4,500 rpm. Dry pads should not be used at over 3,000 rpm.
